In addition to its own independent tracks, pariah. is involved in a number of side projects: producing hip-hop beats
for MCs, producing soundtracks for video projects, and remixing 3rd-party artist tracks.
Since first collaborating
with Yale hip-hopper The Grandmaster on dump and run
in fall 2005, pariah. has co-released three full tracks with both
The Grandmaster and MIT emcee Payday, and several more are in the works. All three tracks can be heard in
downloads. The Grandmaster's singles can also be heard both
through his website and albums, and being performed live with his
crew, the 108 Tongues, in the Yale area.
pariah.'s debut sountrack was for a one-minute short by an artist
at MIT, and was highly received by reviewers of the short.
In just the last few weeks, pariah. has started getting involved with remixing other artists work. The first track
should be a remix of a TBD song by the acoustic group Causeway, off of their
new album, Endless Summer.
If you are an MC, a singer, an artist, an acoustic group that needs drum machine work, or a well-stablished group
that would like to hear one of their tracks remixed, just drop an e-mail to
pariah@pariahmusic.com with the details of what you're looking for and the
timetables involved. This is a really fun opportunity for both parties, and can give rise to some awesome
material.
